SNOW DAY on Capitol Hill/The Eastern Market

I'm still snowed in on Capitol Hill near The Eastern Market. Nobody cleared the side walks so it is to hard to walk. Guess I will just stay in and make jewelry all day.

These earrings are from my FLOWER LINE. I make the earrings out of sterling silver that is very thick (16 gauge silver sheet).051”. The earrings are around 1 inch round beautiful piece.
They are fun earrings that will make a bright statement. I set recycled aluminum behind this piece. I anodize it with a different color on each side. This way you can flip the recycled aluminum over the silver ear wire and change the color for a new look and to go with a new outfit.

Remember my granny look in one of my older shoots for Charles Anastase? This weekend I had another chance to model for his Spring Summer 2009 collection.

This time, I wore a tiny cropped leather jacket over his signature stiff tutu skirt with Victorian suspenders and stockings underneath.

Amazing how ballerina and rock chick look could actually blend so nicely!
